Abstract

Worldwide, a health emergency has occurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has forced all nations to implement measures to control the spread of the virus, which has proven to be deadly. In Colombia, isolation measures were implemented in all sectors, which ended up also affecting the judicial branch, taking into account that a very high number of people pass through judicial offices, and in order to protect life, health and safety. security of the people, the measure was taken to close the courts, and the judicial offices in Colombia. But, indisputably, the administration of justice cannot stop. We are isolated, but we still need the prompt and effective resolution of conflicts that arise in society. Due to the above, the implementation of existing technologies is necessary to revive justice, which due to COVID-19, has had to be suspended for several months and in which the parties have been seriously affected. Although the use of ICT has been implemented in all courts, and technological means have been enabled to continue with the processes, in acts such as holding hearings, sending communications and notifications, managing special powers, among others. , It has not yet been possible to continue normally with the existing processes, due to failures such as good connectivity, and lack of knowledge of the officials, which is why it is necessary to know and understand Decree 806 issued by the current government, as a measure To speed up the problem of the lack of technological tools in the judicial courts, and to prevent this sector from continuing to paralyze, this will be the course to follow to give efficiency and effectiveness to the administration of justice.
