dc.description.abstract | Colombia as a member of the International Labor Organization, is based on the promotion of decent work, in addition to its Magna Carta, which establishes in its Article 1, "Colombia is a Social State of Law, founded on respect for Human Dignity, at Work and in solidarity in general...”, and in Art 25 highlights the right to work, considering work as a right and a social obligation, which enjoys the protection of the State, therefore every person has the right to work in decent conditions that respect their dignity. It is important to mention that the degree of development and civilization of any civilization is the best indicator of its democracy and level of participation and respect for the dignity of its fellow citizens. Work is linked to quality of life, equality and freedom in its full exercise. The individual needs an adequate salary, to equally access a decent family basket. Work is a right and a social obligation and enjoys, in all its forms, the special protection of the State. Every person has the right to work in decent and fair conditions. On the other hand, work is not a matter that belongs exclusively to unions and employers' associations, but involves all individuals and social sectors. In addition to workers, students, the unemployed, people linked to the informal economy and retirees have expressed their interests and aspirations through work groups. On such a condition we address the essential aspects of labor law, trying to harmonize the criteria of commutative and redistributive justice, without losing the sense of Colombian social reality. The present investigation is of great importance since it is essential to know and deepen as students of the legal area, all about the existing social problems in society, such as the lack of a decent job to a high percentage of the population able to work. , looking for alternative solutions to this problem. | en_US |
